Senior Software Engineer II

Working with a group of experienced developers, QA, analytical team, project managers and product people to create service solutions for our data partners. We deliver a variety of datasets in tokenized and non-tokenized versions so that our partners can create insights that can help them determine the best way to help various populations.

About the Role

This position entails performing detailed research, design, and software development in a specific software functional area or product line. The individual will play a direct role in project plans, schedules, and methodology for cross-functional software products. Responsibilities encompass software design across multiple systems, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with users/customers to address their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Interfacing with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.

  • Writing and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components

  • Completing complex bug fixes

  • Working closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.

  • Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.

  • Training entry-level software engineers as directed by department management, ensuring they are knowledgeable in critical aspects of their roles.

  • Designing and work with complex data models.

Requirements

  • Experience in software Engineering

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

  • Understanding of normalized/dimensional data modeling principles.

  • Experience in Front End languages such as React, Javascript, Typescript.

  • Demonstrate expertise in developing complex web applications using ReactJS, including knowledge of React components, lifecycle methods, state management, and handling asynchronous operations.

  • Understand user interface and user experience design principles, with the ability to collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive, user-centric interfaces.

  • Adept at identifying and resolving complex technical issues, including performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.

  • Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources.
