RELX INC Sales Support Generalist in Iloilo, Philippines

As this role covers multiple functions under the Sales Support tower, here are the responsibilities of the Sales Support Generalist -

Accountabilities:

Buyer Services

  • Customer Service Skills

  • Communicates comfortably in English

  • Expresses themselves confidently in writing and speaking

  • Carries out meaningful conversation with internal and external client

  • Knowledgeable in Show Specific Information

  • Navigates and explores websites while understanding its contents

  • Assists and walks customer through (attendee and exhibitor) via various communication channels

  • Completes the task based on the specified guidelines using the applicable tools and systems

Data Management

  • Generates leads for our events based on show brief provided by BU

  • Enriches current database through internet research

  • Updates or removes existing contacts in the database through internet research

  • Validates existing contacts/leads in our database

  • Extraction of company details from a competitor show and doing on-line research to find qualified contacts based on BU criteria

  • Sends report to Operations Supervisor / POC

Event Registration

  • Customer Service Skills

  • Carries out meaningful conversations with internal and external clients

  • Communicates comfortably in English

  • Expresses themselves confidently in writing and speaking

  • Knowledgeable in Show Specific Information

  • Navigates and explores different registration tools while understanding its content

  • Completes the task, based on the specified guidelines using the applicable tools and systems

Event Relations

  • Executes campaigns to invite visitors to attend our event

  • Proactively calls visitors or exhibitors to disseminate information and/or conduct surveys

  • Calls existing contacts in our database to validate and/or update their information

  • Calls prospects and invites them to meet with exhibitors/suppliers of an event

  • Executes other non-revenue telemarketing campaigns as directed by the BU

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree holder, any degree

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience

  • Experience dealing with various stakeholders in a global perspective

  • Experience in lead generation preferred

  • Experience in back-office support for e-mails and chat

  • Call Taking experience
