About the Role
Cell Press is hiring a dynamic, detail-oriented Associate Scientific Editor for the "Cell Reports" editorial team. This role offers a unique chance to advance science by shaping content in a top open-access life sciences journal. As an Associate Scientific Editor, you'll critically contribute to peer review, manuscript selection, and scientific communication.
Responsibilities
Overseeing the peer review and publication process of a growing open access journal
Working with a team of scientific editors to build and develop exciting content across biology
Building effective working relationships with colleagues across Cell Press
Networking with researchers at conferences and site visits
Requirements
Have a PhD or other relevant doctoral degree in any discipline in biology
Have Postdoctoral experience
Have broad scientific interests and curiosity; a passion for helping scientists publish their best work
Have excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and focus
