About our Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Portfolio Marketer to join our dynamic Corporate Markets Marketing team at Elsevier. Corporate Markets represents Elsevier's solutions to the world's most innovative, R&D intensive companies. As a Portfolio Marketer, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our diverse portfolio of products and services.

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to promote our offerings. You generate leads, and drive revenue growth. Go-to-market planning and execution, including revenue-generating campaigns, sales enablement, competitive intelligence and market research for Scopus, ScopusAI and emerging AI offerings aimed at corporate customers. You also drive marketing of the entire Elsevier portfolio to select research clusters in the Engineering markets.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and usage of our portfolio of products and services;

  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape;

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and content development, to align marketing initiatives with business objectives;

  • Creating compelling marketing collateral, including sales presentations, product guides, and promotional materials, to effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings;

  • Planning and executing targeted marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital advertising, email marketing, social media, and events;

  • Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance, generating reports, and provide recommendations for optimization;

  • Staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement in marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Have a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field;

  • Have proven experience in portfolio marketing, product marketing, or similar roles within the publishing, research, or technology industry;

  • Have solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and customer insights;

  • Have good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content;

  • Be proficient in using marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms;

  • Have good organizational and project management skills with attention to detail;

  • Have knowledge of or experience in the field of generative AI, large language models (LLMs) and related concepts.
