About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager for Global Search team. Search is a critical component in legal research and the search experience is a massive customer satisfaction driver in our products. The Product Manager II will own one or more product features and lead project execution. Leveraging deep expertise in search technology, he/she will partner with data scientists and engineers to, ensure the delivery of search features, enhancement of search relevance and migration of new search platform to different products. He/she will gather customer insights, analyze search behavior and identify high-value opportunities to improve search experience.

Responsibilities

• Craft product vision, strategy and roadmaps

• Work closely with engineering teams, data science and QA to define and deliver features and enhance search relevance.

• Identify and prioritize requirements, and write clear requirements and user stories.

• Use data analytics to conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences related to search.

• Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to inform product decisions

• Make data-driven decisions to optimize search algorithms, relevance, and user experience.

• Evangelize and socialize ideas with stakeholders and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment.

• Demonstrates the ability to make trade off decisions between potential product capabilities.

• Effectively manages day-to-day issues and problems without intervention.

  Requirements

• Deep expertise in search technology and information retrieval concepts.

• Technical background preferred; ability to grasp complex search architecture and algorithms.

• Experience with search quality evaluation and online testing methodologies.

• Exceptional critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership abilities.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Passion for developing trusted search solutions that greatly improve how customers discover and use data.

• Experience with Machine learning, or Large Language Model is preferred.

• Is familiar with SDLCs as identified by management e.g. agile processes.
