About the Role
As a Customer Insights Manager, you'll develop and implement a customer insights strategy for diverse industries. You'll conduct qualitative and quantitative research, analyze industry trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize event performance and client satisfaction.
Reporting into our Marketing Director, this is a permanent full-time role based in our head office Chatswood, Sydney with the possibility of combined home/office-based arrangements to have flexible work-life balance.
Responsibilities
Providing qualitative and quantitative research for specific industries and markets, as well as existing and new customers
Leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive customer insights strategy tailored to the diverse industries we serve
Overseeing the collection and analysis of data from various sources with a focus on understanding industry-specific trends and preferences
Utilizing advanced analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from event data and identify industry-specific trends
Collaborating closely with various functions to elevate relevant functional campaigns based on customer insights
Partnering with Exhibition Directors to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within each industry segment
Monitoring key performance indicators related to event satisfaction, attendee engagement, exhibitor ROI, and client retention
Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in customer insights, event analytics, and experiential marketing
Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's not mandatory but highly considered
Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully leading customer insights initiatives within diverse industry sectors
Have expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques
Demonstrate a solid background in customer insights, market research, or analytics within the events industry.
Exhibit excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Have high-level communication skills for verbally and visually communicating insights to a variety of seniority levels
Possess skills in statistical and survey methodology, including advanced skills in quantitative analysis tools
Demonstrate commercial acumen and ability to navigate business priorities to identify corresponding research areas
